Our Story
First meet
Like most couples abroad, we met through a dating app! Thanks to our Jewish roots, we connected in a friendly and easy way. Sara introduced Rudi to her Jewish community in Madrid, and all Sara's friends loved him instantly. Sara fell in love with Rudi's deep blue eyes, guitar skills and voice, while Rudi fell in love with Sara's smile, outgoing Latin personality and cooking.
First kiss
She kissed him! And it's been a beautiful relationship ever since.
Bride
Sara
Sara was born and raised in San Pedro Sula. She studied pharmacy back home and took a leap of faith when she moved to Madrid to continue studying and follow her dream life. In her heart, she hoped to find a nice Jewish guy to spend her life with, and of course, travel around Europe visiting new cities and sampling every signature dish.
Groom
Rudi
Rudi was born and raised in Istanbul. He went to Germany for his master's degree, then moved to Madrid to do his PhD on batteries. His job and love for the Mediterranean brought him to Madrid, but really, he hoped to find a nice Jewish girl to share his life with, travel the world and try different cuisines.
